An elderly man who was killed in a San Francisco car accident has been identified by authorities as 84-year-old Isaac Hudson. According to a Bay City News report, the fatal car accident occurred the morning of November 11, 2009 at the intersection of Alemany Boulevard and Congdon Street near Highway 280. The three occupants of the car that hit Hudson's vehicle abandoned their car and ran from the accident scene, witnesses told police. Hudson died at the scene. Two other parked cars were also hit during the collision, but there were no other injuries.
I offer my deepest sympathies to Isaac Hudson's family for their heartbreaking loss. Please keep them in your prayers.
Car Accidents in San Francisco

I hope and pray that the hit-and-run driver and those who apparently fled the scene of this fatal car accident with him, are caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. California hit-and-run laws are more about taking responsibility for one's actions than anything else. If you are involved in a car accident in California, you are required to stop at once and provide information regarding your insurance, contact, identification and so on.
California Car Accident Laws
The last thing you do is leave the scene of the accident. "I panicked" is never a good enough excuse in a hit-and-run car accident. These individuals who left the scene of this car accident are definitely looking at criminal hit-and-run charges. California Vehicle Code section 20001 states: "The driver of a vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury to a person, other than himself or herself, or in the death of a person shall immediately stop the vehicle at the scene of the accident."
Injured victims and their families who believe that negligence or wrongdoing was involved in their particular case, would be well-advised to contact an experienced San Francisco personal injury attorney, who will make sure they receive the justice and compensation they rightfully deserve.
