A chain-reaction car accident in San Luis Obispo County triggered by a driver who lost control of her vehicle injured eight people the morning of August 16, 2010. KSBY News reports that that injury collision occurred on Highway 46 in Paso Robles when a vehicle driven by Rosa Solorio de Espinosa went out of control, crossed into opposing lanes of traffic and struck a big rig.

Espinosa's vehicle then hit another car, which was then struck from behind by another sedan. Espinosa sustained major injuries. Seven others suffered moderate injuries, officials said. Officials are looking into what caused Espinosa to lose control of the vehicle.
