Major Injuries in San Bernardino Motorcycle Accident
A motorcycle accident has critically injured a man identified as 24-year-old Tommy Cockerham. The major injury car accident occurred on the eastbound Highway 62 in Twentynine Palms where Cockerham was riding his 2009 Harley Davidson the evening of November 11, 2009. Cockerham's motorcycle then ran into a large duffel bag on the highway. He lost control of his motorcycle and crashed. Cockerham was taken to an area hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
I sympathize with Tommy Cockerham and his family. I hope he makes a speedy and complete recovery from his serious injuries. This injured victim and his family will be in my prayers.

There were five injuries involving motorcycle accidents in Twentynine Palms in the year 2007, according to California Highway Patrol's traffic accident statistics. Countywide, motorcycle accidents claimed 28 lives and injured 627 people during the same year.
