La Puente Drunk Driver Crashes Car Into Pool

May 13, 2012--KABC reports that a Lexus crashed through a retaining wall and into the pool of a La Puente home on Sunday.
A silver Lexus driven by an unidentified individual left Barry Dale Street and crashed through a wall that surrounded an area home. The driver crashed the car into the pool but was rescued without significant injury. The driver was charged with driving under the influence. The car has been removed from the pool, and Los Angeles police are investigating the circumstances of the Los Angeles car accident to determine what caused the driver to veer off the road.
No other injuries were reported in connection with the accident.
I want to express my sincere relief that no one was seriously hurt in what could have been a terrible accident.
